The performance of steel material mainly refers on mechanical properties, physical properties, and process performance. Heat treatment will bring different metallurgical structure and corresponding performance for the steel pipe, so could be better applied in different industrial or the oil gas services. In the field of modern industrial technology, heat treatment is one importance method to improve steel pipe performance to  meet the relevant technical standards or technical conditions of the purchaser. Through the capabilities of the production facilities owned by PT AEP, a series of heat treatment processes can be carried out to meet product standards and requirements of users, mainly include the following processes: (1) Quenching plus high temperature tempering, (2) Normalizing, (3) Normalizing plus tempering, and (4) Annealing.
